Sonja Merz is a swiss musician, composer, artistic director and pedagogue.
Her work is defined by an enormous stylistic diversity: With her project "Andariegas" she connects a broad repertoire from folkloristic standards, original compositions and innovative arrangements.
She regularly stages multidisciplinary ensemble concert formats that combine classical repertoire with contemporary pop, acting and world music.
Her composition "Visur Vatnsenda-Rosu" will be premiered live during the 2024 Swiss Superfinals and broadcasted on SRF.

Phileas Baun is an award winning guitarist, cinematographer, multidisciplinary artist and university lecturer from Germany.
As a guitarist, Phileas Baun has played numerous concerts around the World (Paris, Mexico City, Rio de Janeiro, Berlin, Rotterdam, et al.). His stylistic diversity ranges from early to contemporary Music (The Interstring Project), solo and ensemble work, appearance with orchestras around Europe, improvisation and composition. In 2021, age 24, he was appointed a teaching position at the University of Music Freiburg, lecturing music and multimedia production.
His multidisciplinary artistry has led to numerous innovative concert formats (Come Heavy Sleep/2024, Blackout/2022, DISORDER/2021), exploring the intersection between staged concert, music theater, opera and sound installation. In 2021 he conceived and supervised the interdisciplinary study program „Post Grad Indie“, a cooperation between the Hochschule für Musik and Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst Basel.
